Last Monday me, Lachie c, and Keahn did maths together. Here is question one:
On the weekend, Tylah made a chocolate cake. If flour made up 65% of the mixture. what percentage of the cake was not flower?
so we did 65% + 35% =100
we did 65% + 5%= 70%
70%+30%=100%
30%+5%=35%.

swimming safety
On Wednesday and Thursday we did swimming safety. On Wednesday my group went on the boat
but first we had to jump in the water. We had to swim to the boat. Each person at least had
to pull two people up. After that we had to scubadive in the water off the boat. When everyone was off we went under the boat. Only three people at a time can go under the boat we also were wearing life jackets.

Math graphs
This week we looked at graphs during maths time. I liked the different graphs that I saw. Each maths mate made their own graph about their own topic!
Raigan, Sam and I created a graph about games.

Day trip!
On Wednesday the 13th of June, Room 16 went to the Art Gallery and Museum.
At the museum we looked at the sun exhibition. We learnt a lot about the sun and even how solar power energy works! With the help of Anthony, we made models of solar powered cars in our groups.
We explored a range of different Māori artworks at the Art Gallery. Using what we learnt, we went back and created our own artwork.
